2.        Aug 1993 to June 1994 Construction of building for the M.C.H 325,000 Ministry of Women Development The construction of this building helped the NGO to provide basic health care services to the deserving and needy people of the area at their door step, virtually free of cost. The NGO is providing these services since 1993 from within its own sources without any external support for the recurring cost of the project
3.        July 1993 to  June 1996 Tree Plantation 462,200 Ministry of Environment One hundred thousand eucalyptus trees were planted in the surrounding areas of Mitha Tiwana
4.        Oct 1993 to     Jan 1994 Pumping Station 445,000 Ministry of Environment Stagnant pondage water was pumped out. 250 households were beneficiaries of this project
5.        June 1993 to     June 1994 Construction of Primary School and provision of furniture items 1,008,000 Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) PEF supported the NGO in the construction of primary school building and provision of furniture items. This project laid the foundation of an Institution which has now become a Girls Degree College and providing quality English medium education to more than 1000 students of the area
6.        July 1993 to Sep 2003 Provision of transport facility to the girls 250,000 Ministry of Women Division A Suzuki van was purchased for the pick and drop of the college going students from Jauharabad to Mitha Tiwana and back. The project provided this facility on no profit no loss basis for ten years
7.        April 1994 Provision of transport facility for the poor patients 538,000 Pakistan BaitUl Mal NGO is supporting the poor patients in many ways. Provision of this transport facility has helped the neediest and poor patients of the area to reach to the nearby appropriate health facility either free of cost or on no profit no loss basis
8.        Jul 1995 to June  2000 Provision of Family Planning Services 954,478 NATPOW NGO provided the Family Planning  services with the financial and technical assistance from NATPOW
9.        Jan 1996 to Apr 1996 Construction of a Link Road 100,000 National Council for Social Welfare Islamabad A one KM long link road was constructed from main road Mitha Tiwana  to Dhillianwali with the help of local community. More than 300 Households were beneficiaries
10.    Jan 1996 to Nov 1997 Food for Work Program 909,000 CRS The NGO carried out a number of development projects like earth filling of streets, construction of wash rooms etc against food for work program

 
11.    Mar  1996 to Apr 1996 Skills Development for the Youth 79,378 Ministry of Youth Affairs Secretarial and typing courses were arranged for 150 students
12.    July 1996 to June 1997 Provision of basic education 393,000 CIDA Non Formal Schools were established in areas where no other educational facility existed. The success of this project made possible the current expanded program of the NGO in the non-formal sector of education
13.    July 1996 to Sep 1998 Participatory Development Program (PDP) through Social Action Program 9,805,000 PDP/SAP This project transformed the NGO from a welfare oriented NGO to a development oriented organization. A number of projects in the sanitation, streets pavements and teachers training were carried out besides construction of a Research and Training Institute (RTI) at itha Tiwana
14.    July 1998 to Dec 1998 Construction of  Awan Complex  Building 800,000 SHER The NGO constructed this complex from within its own budget. This complex is currently having a Primary School, a VTC for Girls and a Healthcare Centre.
15.    April 1999 to Oct 2000 Construction of Technical Training Centre (TTC) 1,072,550 National Zakat Foundation A TTC was constructed in the premises of RTI which is being used for the provision of technical training of the children
16.    Mar 2001 to June 2004 Social Mobilization and formation of SMCs in the selected Districts and Schools of Punjab 1,901,955 KZR/SHER The objective of this project was to ensure 100% enrollment of children in the schools and to make SMCs functional. Children were enrolled and SMCs were made functional in 79 Schools of District Sargodha, Khushab, Bhakkar and Mianwali by motivating  and mobilizing the local communities under this project
17.    July 2004 to Dec 2006 Establishment of Non-formal Schools 339,000 Literacy Department 20  Non Formal Schools were established in the district which provided primary level education to more than 600 children
18.    Jan 2005 to Dec 2006 Capacity building of the Citizen Community Boards (CCBs) 500,000 Decentralization Support Program 126 CCBs of Khushab district were trained under this project.
19.    Feb 2005 to Jun 2005 Purchase of equipment for VTC 160,000 National Council for Social Welfare Islamabad NGO purchased knitting and sewing machines for its VTC which further improved the functioning and quality of the training being imparted in this VTC
20.    July 2005 to Dec 2006 Adult Literacy Program 1,125,950 NCHD 3350 adult female were provided with basic education and skill under this program in Gujrat, Sargodha and Khushab Districts
21.    Dec 2005 to June 2006 Provision of Lab Equipment 1,205,000 Ministry of Women Development The provision of this equipment further improved the performance and quality of health care services being provided by the two  MCH Centres of the NGO
22.    July 2006 to Sep 2007 Phase 1 Poverty Alleviation Program  Phase I 2,481,042 PPAF Under this project NGO in partnership with PPAF and local communities made street pavements, drains and brick lining of canals. 650 house hold were beneficiaries.
23.    Apr 2007 to Dec 2007 Construction of boundary wall of Sher Ghar (orphan house) 415,000 National Council for Social Welfare Islamabad The boundary wall constructed for the orphan house called Sher Ghar which currently has more than 100 orphan and destitute children who are being groomed in this centre
24.    June 1998 to Dec 1998 Construction of Primary  School Building at Botala 419,000 SHER The NGO constructed a primary school on self help basis at Botala. The local community provided land free of cost to the NGO. Currently this school is providing quality education to more than 150 students of the area.
25.    July 2008 to June 2009 Pakistan Safe Drinking Water and Hygiene Promotion Project 7,332,502 US AID 2250 mothers and 2475 fathers of children under 5 years of age were sensitized. Molvis (Religious Leaders), NGOs and schools teachers were trained in this project to raise awareness about diarrhea  and clean drinking water.
26.    Jan 2007 to 2009 Distribution of meet, Ration and financial Assistance 643,000 Qatar Charity Financial assistance and ration items were provided to more than 100 poor families on the eve of Eid Ul Fitr. Qurbani meet  was distributed to more than 300 needy people  on the eve of Eid Ul Azha
27.    April 2009 to December 2012 Gender Justice and Protection Project (GJP) 810,000 UNDP 3 counseling and referral centers were established to end violence against women .200 LHWs 200 teachers 100 community activists were trained under this project. Base line study was conducted and I.E.C Material was distributed under this project.
28.    May 2009 to July 2010 Poverty Alleviation Program Phase 2 1,430,000 PPAF Under this project NGO in partnership with PPAF and local communities made street pavements, drains and brick lining of canals. 1150 households were beneficiaries of this project
29.    July 2009 to Feb 2010 Ensuring Economics Rights to Bonded Mine Workers 183,875 Asia Foundation Around 4000 bonded mine workers made aware of their rights. A research study was conducted on the safety of coal mines and rights of the mine workers. Besides holding of two regional level seminars, a provincial level Seminar was held at Lahore where the findings of the study were shared with all stakeholders

 The Embassy of Japan provided financial assistance under its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project. The NGO has successfully completed the construction phase of this project. This project is likely to meet the pressing need of more than 400 parents of the children to accommodate their wards in our College/School for attainment of good quality education
31.    June 2010 Distribution of Books NA Asia Foundation 1600 books were donated by Asia Foundation to schools running under SHER for the purpose to improve quality education. For this purpose a book fare was organized by SHER and books were distributed to 10 schools
32.    July 2010 to Dec 2010 Grant for Capacity Building (C.B) 80,000 PPAF Community organization formed under the component of Social Mobilization will be trained to deal with CPI projects
33.    Nov 2009 to Oct 2012 Meeting the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) of Achieving Universal Primary Education  through Non-Formal Education 46,000,000 Pakistan-Italian Debt for Development Swap Agreement (PIDSA)

 

 SHER in partnership with Friends of Literacy and Mass Education (FLAME) has established 70 non-formal schools in Khushab out of a total of 200 schools established under this project. 2426 students from all over the district have been enrolled in these schools who have pass primary education under this project
34.    July 2010 to Mar 2012 Grant for Community Physical Infrastructure ( CPI) Phase 3 9,000,000 PPAF 20 Nos. projects of Water courses, sanitation, drain, street pavement and link road will be completed through community participation in U/Cs of Mitha Tiwana and Botala. So far 7 CPIs have been completed
35.    July 2010 to Sep 2012 Grant for Social Mobilization (S.M) 7,680,000 PPAF 170 community organization will be formed in U/Cs Mitha Tiwana and Botala
36.    July 2012 to Jan 2013 Legal Empowerment of Poor Program 2,600,000 INP 2 Free Legal Aid Centres were established in district Bhakkar and Layyah in coordination with District Bar Associations. 500 people were provided free counselling and 50 people were provided free legal aid while 100 community paralegals were trained to create awareness among the masses of community regarding their rights

39.  Nov-2015 to Aug 2016 Better and Safer Future for Women ( BSFW) 7,442,700 SGAF- USAID This project was being implemented in district Khushab and Mianwali to end violence against women and create awareness about women rights. Under this project Counseling and referral centers will be established where free legal aid will be provided to victims of violence.  Action research was also a part of project activities. Toll free number will also be installed. Awareness creating activities will be carried out under this project

Arranged orientation meeting of Staff and organized the project launching ceremony in DBA Sargodha. Signed an MOU with DBA Sargodha, Conduct trainings of lawyers. Sep-2016 to Dec-2017 Safe and Secure Future (SSF) Project US$ 321,655 Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (BPRM) US State Department The project aims towards building greater social cohesion and coordination along with improved livelihood programs among Afghan refugees and host communities by undertaking multiple integrated activities. Besides targeting a population of 7000 Afghan refugees, socioeconomic conditions of 1032 households will be improved.
