INTEGRATED PROJECT KHANEWAL

Labour & Human Resource Department Govt. of the Punjab launched a project namely Integrated Project on Elimination of Child & Bonded Labour, initialy in ten districts of Punjab province. The Non formal education component of the project was awarded to NGOs.

SHER was awarded district Khanewal through competitive process. This component of project comprises provision of Non Formal Education to 7,140 Child Labourers and siblings of Bonded labourers. For the purpose 204 Non Formal Schools has been set up by SHER in district Khanewal.

Duration: Total duration of the project is 44 months and project was initiated on June 2016.

As per agreement Labour & HR deptt. will provide PKR 127,500,000 to SHER for execution of prescribed project activities.
